Dr. RATNA L. NUGROHO

Ratna Lindawati Lubis
is one of the core Faculty members at Telkom University (formerly Institut Manajemen Telkom or IM Telkom); a higher education institution under PT. Telkom Education Foundation or Yayasan Pendidikan Telkom (YPT) in West Java, Indonesia. She comes to the higher education industry with over 8 years of experience in architectural engineering, mostly with Japanese construction companies (TAISEI Corporation, MAEDA Corporation, TOBISHIMA Corporation, JICA Agency, and Pacific Consultant International). She has international experience by having lived and worked in Tokyo u2013 JAPAN with TAISEI Corporation as one of the summer intern participants in 1993, from June to August.

She has taught entrepreneurship courses and strategic management courses to master’s students for over 2 decades.

For the 2004 u2013 2007 term, she has been appointed as the Head of the Center for Business and Entrepreneurship Development (CBED) and signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Badan Pengkajian Penerapan Teknologi (BPPT) to run the u201cBusiness Innovation Contest or BICu201d among the higher education students all over Indonesia. She holds her responsibility as the Head of Research for Entrepreneurship Studies to graduate students, from 2004 to 2013.

She graduated in 1992 as a Bachelor of Architect Engineer from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Indonesia. In the year of 2000, she obtained her Master in Management degree from the Asian Institute of Management (AIM), Manila, Philippines under the AIM Deanu2019s Full Tuition Scholarship Program. On August 30th 2012, she obtained her Doctoral degree and graduated with u201ccum laudeu201d honors from Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) majoring in Education Administration for Higher Education. PT. Telkom Education Foundation grants her the scholarship program to study at UPI. Her doctoral research work has focused on Entrepreneurship Education (EE) in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Her dissertation has suggested that the new forms of EE are emerging, both within and outside of formal education systems.

She began her global network with the Climate Interactive u2013 an independent, not-for-profit think-tank that grew out of MIT Sloan in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA u2013 in July 2020, serving as one of the of En-ROADS Climate Ambassadors worldwide (https://www.climateinteractive.org/tools/en-roads/climate-ambassadors/).

She shows her active role to the global community u2013 as a higher education lecturer as well as a lifelong learner u2013 by exploring the online courses u201cMOOCsu201d from top universities and organization, such as HarvadX, MITx and SDGAcademyX since July 2018 to date (https://www.edx.org/).
